No homeowner ever wants to call for emergency tree service when something goes wrong, and they’re left with a damaged roof or a tree lying across the driveway. The size and position of an oak tree in one Vinton, VA, yard had the homeowner worried that this would happen. Unwilling to deal with storm-damage cleanup, they decided that tree removal was the best option to make their yard safe again.
Because this tree was so large and close to the house, they needed a tree service that could remove it with more finesse than force. They called Integrity Tree Service, knowing that the crew has the experience and equipment to do the job right.

A Trunk Too Close for a Standard Tree Removal Approach
This oak’s size and position near the home ruled out straightforward felling for tree removal. The crew had to bring the tree down piece by piece rather than in one motion. Using a ladder or climbing line to reach the upper canopy, as they would for standard tree trimming, wasn’t the safest option for this job, so they brought in a bucket lift instead.
The bucket truck gave the technicians access to the canopy, allowing them to section the tree while limiting the risk of handling heavy material near the residence. Working from this stable, elevated position allowed them to cut and lower material in controlled stages. With the upper portions gone, the crew sectioned the substantial trunk from the top down.
The last step was stump grinding, which turned the remaining wood into mulch. The stump was ground down, leaving the yard clear of the remaining visible tree.
